Parking at Highbury

We are committed to ensuring Highbury Birkenhead is a convenient place to shop for our community. The carparks at Highbury are provided to ensure customers visiting the centre can conveniently park and complete their shopping within the three-hour time limit. It was previously brought to our attention that some users of the carpark were exceeding the three hour time limit and not necessarily visiting the centre. This isn’t ideal for the retail businesses within Highbury or members of our community wanting to shop with us.

A third party supplier, Enforce IQ is now monitoring the parking conditions at Highbury and uses new technology to do so. Unfortunately in recent weeks the system was not operating appropriately and Enforce IQ has since undertaken a comprehensive review and testing program. The car parking system is now working correctly and the service provider will now re-instate the carpark monitoring system and issue enforcement notices only to those that exceed the three-hour time limit from Monday 21 August 2023.

However if your visit to Livewire or the Vivo Hair Salon is likely to exceed the three-hour parking limit, please see the Livewire staff to validate your parking for an extended duration.
